Welcome to our unique and luxurious overnight shelter. Here you will be able to drink your morning coffee with a fantastic view of Lake Hammervatnet, enjoy a delicious meal from our own farm shop on the fire pit, end the evening with a hot bath in the hot tub on the terrace and sleep in beds with good comfort.
Our luxury overnight shelter is more than just a place to sleep - it is an experience in itself. We look forward to welcoming you to a stay you won't soon forget! The shelter is built of solid logs, where much of the wood is sourced from our own forest. One side of the cabin is covered in a rock, a visual experience that brings the wonders of nature right into the living room and bedroom.
Fjøsleiligheten - Apartment in the sheep barn
Well-equipped apartment with panoramic views down to the animals in the barn and out towards idyllic Hammervatnet. Here you can literally count sheep straight from bed. The apartment also has a large terrace with both jacuzzi/jacuzzi and barbecue area.
It is a very special experience to live in the barn in the middle of life on the farm, with an incredibly nice nature around! Here you can greet the animals, go for a run, go for a walk in the woods, barbecue, kayak/use the boat (except during the nesting season or migration season), enjoy the tranquility by the water or relax in the jacuzzi on the terrace. If you want to visit the animals in the barn, we are happy to arrange a visit inside.
Charming cabin in the forest
Cozy cabin in the middle of the sheep pasture in the forest with a beautiful view of Hammervatnet. Here you find peace – all alone. Fire pit on the veranda and the opportunity to use the hot tub right next door or stroll down to the water for a refreshing bath. A good, old-fashioned cabin with a wood stove, tallow candles and an outdoor toilet. Perfect if you want to enjoy nature in peace. A couple of hundred meters from the cabin you will find a barbecue and swimming area for guests, with the possibility of renting a kayak, canoe, rowing boat and fishing equipment.
Activities
Around Hammer farm there is a lot to do. Here you can experience life on the farm, greet the animals grazing outdoors, run or go for a walk in the woods, barbecue, kayak, swim, enjoy the tranquility around the fire pit at the water's edge or relax in the hot tub/jacuzzi. If you want to visit the animals in the barn, we are happy to arrange a visit to the barn.
In winter, you can fish on the ice, go skating, sledding or skiing. Åsfjellet can offer many nice groomed ski trails.
